5 ways BuNu can help you raise money for conservation!

Burung-Nusantara aims to help Indonesian NGOs raise money for bird conservation projects in Indonesia. Burung-Nusantara doesn’t have any money of its own, but you can use it to help YOU raise money. Here are five ways it can help:

  1. Do you have a web-site? If not, create a page for your organisation or club here, and when you are writing proposals or letters you can refer to that page as YOUR web-site. This will help donors learn more about you, and they will see you as more credible.
  2. List the project you are trying to raise money for, or your other projects, here. Again, this will help potential donors to learn more about you and they will see you are a ‘real’ organisation.
  3. When you write proposals say you are a “member of the Burung-Nusantara network”. This will show to potential donors that you are a part of a wider network and movement to conserve wild birds in Indonesia . This will show to a potential donor that you are committed to a ‘bigger goal’ and are well connected with other Indonesian NGOs and groups working on bird conservation.
  4. Read the advice posted here about writing proposals. Download the log-frame guide and plan your projects using it.
  5. Keep checking back on the Burung-Nusantara web-site for new grant opportunities. We will post all the grant opportunities we hear about, as soon as we hear about them.
