- Pictures should be approximately 500 pixels wide landscape-type image (width greater than height) or 350 pixels wide for a portrait type image (height greater than width)
- We do not accept files over 100KB in size
- Only .jpeg images are accepted
- Please use your best judgement when uploading photos. Try and limit yourself to 1 or 2 of your best pictures of any individual bird (usually the most exciting ones that there are no photos of yet)
- Please be aware that this NOT a permanent archive. Always make sure you keep copied of your pictures
- Please give the file a name that is simple and includes the name of the bird and/or site. This is what will be dispalyed if someone hovers over the thumbnail with their mouse. For example: “Wood Sandpiper.jpg” or “Gunung Gede.jpg“
- Please give a short description for each photo. For a bird this should include the name of the species, the location, the date and the photographers name. For example: “Wood Sandpiper, Muara Gembong, January 2010, Iwan Falls“
- Please only submit photos for whihc you have permission (copyright). You can add your name to the image itself if you want to make sure people know its yours
- Please do not submit innappropriate or offensive pictures. This gallery is currently unmoderated but that will change quickly if people abuse it
- If you want to report an innappropriate of offensive picture please email us and we will remove it
