Information about getting funding for bird conservation
Some guidance on finding funding for bird conservation in Indonesia. We will try and add more information to this page soon.
Step 1
- Think about what you want to acheive: start with a goal, not a method.
- Look at some of the suggestion on the Bird conservation methods pages (still under construction).
Step 2
- Write a simple plan to acheive your goal.
- A great way to start is with a simple log-frame. A quick guide to writing a log-frame can be downloaded here (in Bahasa Indonesia).
Step 3
- Find a donor and apply. A list of some small grant donors is inlcuded below. check their web-sites for updated information (and please let us know if anything has changed).
- Convert your plan into their format
- Read all of their instructions CAREFULLY (and follow them!).
- Submit your proposal and wait
- Get the money and start work
- Or if you dont get the money, try again!
